March 25-April 5, 2024, marks the dates for the Spring Testing cycle. It is vital that all students get a full night's sleep and are encouraged to do the best they can on the assessment. This is assessing what they know. We are asking that you encourage your children to focus and do their best. We have an amazing group of students, and they will continue to show growth. Thank you.

Good afternoon. Since it has been awhile since most of the student files have been updated, we have sent out a student information sheet. The school district has enabled the automated attendance system, and the updated files will correct any changes that could have occurred. If you did not receive one, please let us know and we will get a form to you.

Join us at the Halloween Carnival on Monday, October 30th from 7:00 to 9:00pm!

Due to current winds in excess of 40mph and the change in the afternoon weather forecast now predicting higher winds and heavier rains, the travel to the Tim City Long Range Radar Station has been cancelled. Representatives from the air force will travel to the school to talk to students in the afternoon.

The Tin City trip is delayed until the next weather check at 11:00.

Winds of 40mph recorded this morning and predicted for 9am. Tin City departure delayed until 10am. We will assess again at 9:40am.

Activities can begin again. We are all thankful that Verne was found safe. Thank you to everyone who helped out with SAR and behind the scenes.

FYI: Due to the current Search and Rescue (SAR) going on in Wales, there will be no afterschool activies (i.e., open gym, sports) until further notice. I will let you know when these activities can resume.

Welcome to a new school year. I am very excited to continue as your principal for another school year. We have started our year off to a great start. The image attached is inviting people from the community to run for a position with the Advisory Education Committee. This committee is made up of community members who want to be involved in the education of the wonderful students who live in this great village. If you are interested in applying, please stop by the office during school hours to complete an affidavit of candidacy. Thanks again from your principal, Dr. Dawn Hendrickson.
